Overview
Dream Kitchen & Bath Shop stands behind the remodeling work we perform for homeowners in Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads. This policy outlines our labor warranty, how manufacturer warranties apply to products we supply, and when returns or replacements may be available.
Workmanship Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in your signed proposal, we provide a one-year labor warranty on installation workmanship completed by Dream Kitchen & Bath Shop, beginning on the project completion date. The warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal residential use. It does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorized alterations, improper maintenance, or conditions outside the scope of our installed work.
Manufacturer Product Warranties
Cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures, and other products carry the warranties offered by their manufacturers. We help homeowners understand coverage and assist with warranty claims for products purchased through our company. Manufacturer terms vary by brand and product line; printed or digital warranty documents supplied with your order are the governing source for product-specific coverage.
What Is Not Covered
Normal wear, finish aging, water damage from unrelated plumbing failures, structural movement in the home, homeowner-supplied materials, and work performed by third parties outside our contract are not covered by our labor warranty. Cosmetic preferences after installation—such as a change of mind on color or style—are also outside warranty coverage.
Returns & Exchanges
Special-order cabinetry, cut-to-size countertops, and custom millwork are generally non-returnable once manufacturing has begun. Stock accessories or fixtures may be eligible for return only if unused, in original packaging, and still accepted by the supplier. Restocking fees, freight charges, and manufacturer return windows may apply. Please contact us before returning any item so we can confirm eligibility.
How to Request Service
If you notice a workmanship concern during the warranty period, contact our Virginia Beach team with your project address, a description of the issue, and photos when helpful. We will review the request promptly and schedule a service visit when covered work is needed.
Questions
Warranty and return questions are welcome before, during, and after your remodel. Call or message us and we will point you to the right next step for labor coverage or a manufacturer claim.
